the public domain (open to use, not owned), open both to livestock raising as open range, and to homesteading.
The "Western" States: Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming,
Montana, Idaho, Utah, and Arizona, but the Western Rgion also includes Alaska, Hawaii, Calafornia, Idaho,Nevada, Oregon and
Washington.
